On Tuesday, October 27, Consul General Kang Jung visited San Diego City Hall and met with Mayor Todd Gloria to exchange views on ways to expand economic and industrial cooperation between the Republic of Korea and San Diego.

Both sides noted San Diego’s competitive strengths in key industries, including biotechnology and life sciences, advanced technology, and defense, and discussed opportunities for cooperation with Korean companies and institutions in these fields.

Consul General Jung also called for the city government’s continued interest and support in further expanding economic exchanges and people-to-people networks between the Republic of Korea and San Diego.
