KAD-WAVE ist eine ehrenamtliche Referatsgruppe im Verein Koreanisch Adoptierte Deutschland e.V..

Am 24. Juni 2026 startet eine Community-Umfrage mit Vorstudiencharakter zu Erfahrungen auslandsadoptierter Menschen in Deutschland. Die Befragung läuft drei Monate und richtet sich an Menschen, die zwischen 1960 und 2000 im Rahmen einer Auslandsadoption beziehungsweise transnationalen Adoption nach Deutschland adoptiert wurden.
Wir möchten Sie anfragen, ob Sie den Aufruf über geeignete Kanäle Ihrer Netzwerke weiterleiten können, zum Beispiel über Newsletter, Verteiler, Social Media.
Warum ist die Teilnahme wichtig?
In Deutschland leben schätzungsweise 10.000 Menschen, die aus dem Ausland adoptiert wurden. Ihre Perspektiven sind bisher kaum systematisch sichtbar, obwohl Erfahrungen von Adoption, Herkunft, Identität und Aktenzugang oft auch Familien und Folgegenerationen betreffen. Im Fokus stehen Herkunft, Aktenzugang, Identität, Rassismuserfahrungen und Unterstützungsbedarfe. Es handelt sich nicht um eine repräsentative wissenschaftliche Studie, sondern um eine Community Umfrage mit Vorstudiencharakter.
KAD-WAVE möchte vor allem auch Menschen erreichen, die bisher wenig oder keinen Kontakt zu Community-Strukturen haben.
Deshalb freuen wir uns sehr, wenn Sie den Aufruf in passenden Kontexten teilen.
Start ist am 24.6. und die Laufzeit geht bis zum 30.09.2026

On June 24, 2026, a community survey with a preliminary study character will be launched, focusing on the experiences of internationally adopted individuals in Germany. The survey will run for three months and is aimed at people who were adopted to Germany between 1960 and 2000 through international or transnational adoption.
We would like to kindly ask whether you could share it through appropriate channels within your networks—for example via newsletters, mailing lists, or social media.
Why is participation important?
It is estimated that around 10,000 people in Germany were adopted from abroad. Their perspectives have so far received little systematic visibility, even though experiences related to adoption, origin, identity, and access to records often also affect families and subsequent generations. The survey focuses on origin, access to records, identity, experiences of racism, and support needs. It is not a representative scientific study, but a community survey with a preliminary research character.
KAD-WAVE particularly aims to reach individuals who have had little or no contact with community structures to date.
We would therefore greatly appreciate it if you could share this call in relevant contexts.
